Cindyana Santangelo, the actress and model best known for her role on Married with Children, has tragically passed away at the age of 58. Santangelo was pronounced dead at a hospital following a medical emergency in Malibu on March 24, 2025.

The cause of her death is still being investigated, and an autopsy is pending. Santangelo's untimely death has shocked both fans and the entertainment industry, as she was known for her appearances in iconic shows like Married with Children, ER, and CSI: Miami.

On the evening of March 24, authorities responded to an emergency call, where Santangelo, who was later identified, was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. Theories state that the medical emergency might have originated from the cosmetic injections she had recently received prior to her passing.

Although no official cause of death has been confirmed, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has begun the standard procedure when the cause is unknown; opening an investigation.

Cindyana Santangelo: the 'Latin Marilyn Monroe'

Cindyana Santangelo had a noteworthy career in TV and film. Her most important role was probably as Sierra Madre, a dancer at The Jiggly Room, in the hit sitcom Married with Children. Her acting credits also include appearances in TV shows like ER, CSI: Miami, and the movie Tequila Express.

Santangelo also appeared in different music videos such as Young MC's Bust a Move in 1989 and lent her voice to Jane’s Addiction's song Stop, which became a standout hit in the 1990s. Perry Farrell, the band's frontman, once referred to her as "the Latin Marilyn Monroe" in Spin Magazine
