JD Vance: "We will respond with overwhelming force"
Vice President endorsed US intervention in Iran during an interview, emphasizing the need for a “smart” decision to stop their nuclear development.

Last Sunday, in an interview with ABC News, Vice President JD Vance supported the United States' intervention in Iran, calling for a "smart" approach to Iran's decision about stopping its nuclear program. If they do that, continuing Vance, the U.S. will help the country face the problem.
However, the politician made a warning: "If they decide they're going to attack our troops, if they decide they're going to continue to try to build a nuclear weapon, then we will respond with overwhelming force. So, really, what happens next is up to the Iranians," he finally said.
JD Vance warned Iran
Despite Donald Trump's declaration on Saturday, JD Vance did not confirm the complete destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities. When asked about it, he said: "I don't want to get into sensitive intelligence details, but we know that last night we delayed the Iranian nuclear program considerably, whether it was years or even longer."
JD Vance supported the United States' intervention in Iran, saying that the reason for the military movement in Tehran is its nuclear program. The politician also said that the recent attacks delayed the development of Iran's nuclear program. He also backed Donald Trump's intervention, criticizing that Americans are "exhausted" from the conflict that has lasted more than 20 years and that the US "had inept presidents."

Iran attack US military bases
Today, Iranian bombs hit U.S. military bases in Qatar as a response to the attack in Tehran. Qatar's Defense Ministry confirmed no deaths or injuries. The public official also said that they intercepted a missile attack on Al-Udeid. On the other side, Iran said on its national television that the bombs were targeting U.S. bases, not Qatar.
Neither Donald Trump nor JD Vance responded to the attack, but NBC News reports that the President, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, and other officials are in the Situation Room at the White House, monitoring the situation in the Middle East.
