Trump to meet National Security team after Iran’s attack on U.S. base in Qatar
Reuters reported that President Donald Trump will soon meet with his security team in the situation room to discuss US retaliation for the bombing of Iran.

The President of the United States Donald Trump will meet in a few minutes with his national security team in the situation room with senior officials from his administration following Iran's attack on US bases in Doha, Qatar.
The White House has just confirmed that other men who will also accompany Trump in the meeting are General and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Trump hints at regime change in Iran after nuclear strike claims
This comes after President Trump hinted at the possibility of regime change in Iran, commenting that Iran may experience a change of command: "It is not politically correct to use the term 'regime change,' but if the current Iranian regime cannot rebuild Iran to greatness, why wouldn't there be a regime change?" the President said.
On the other hand, Trump also claimed that the United States military caused extensive damage to Iran's nuclear facilities without having conclusive evidence to demonstrate or corroborate these facts.
Qatar condemns Iran's attack on U.S. base as violation of sovereignty
CNN has reported that the Qatari government has condemned Iran's attack on the US air base known as Al-Udeid. Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed al-Ansari stated: "We consider this a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, its airspace, international law, and the United Nations Charter," he commented in a post on his X account.

Al-Ansari also mentioned that Qatari air defenses successfully intercepted a missile attack on the Al-Udeid air base: "All necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of personnel at the base, including members of the Qatari Armed Forces, friendly forces, and others." Furthermore, they reported that there were no injuries or deaths as a result of the attack.
