Project Homecoming: Trump will increased staff for deportations
In addition, the project seeks to involve local and state police in immigration control, with the intention of making this policy a joint effort at the national level.

Donald Trump's recent announcement could worst the situation of undocumented immigrants in the United States. The new proposal, known as the “Project Homecoming,” seeks to speed up deportations by a maximum of 60 days and strengthen Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is part of his second term policies in order to make "America great again".
President Trump signed an executive order that calls for the incorporation of at least 20,000 new immigration agents with the argument of restoring order and reinforcing national security. The plan also includes the participation of local and state police to intensify raids in different parts of the country.

The “Homecoming Project” proposes an easy way out for undocumented immigrants in the United States: leave the country voluntarily with financial support from the government, or face forced deportation.
These measures are generating tensions with local and state authorities, especially in so-called "sanctuary cities", which for years have refused to cooperate with ICE. Now they could face more pressure from the federal government.

Will Donald Trump continuing reinforcing ICE in 2025?
The immigration plan presented by Donald Trump contemplates one of the largest expansions in the history of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It seeks to hire more than 20,000 new agents to address the alleged “border decontrol” and the increase of irregular crossings at the southern border. In the last week, the President's administration also said that they are going to designate FBI agents to ICE.
Also, the project seeks to involve local and state police in immigration control, with the intention of making this policy a joint effort at the national level. Just a few hours early, Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, approved an order that let FHP make more immigrations raids without waiting ICE to approach the state.
