In an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press with Kristen Welker", the U.S. Vice President called Operation Midnight Hammer a "testament to the power of the American military," noting that the United States had only a narrow window of opportunity for the strikes to succeed.
"We might not have been able to carry out this attack six months down the road. … We have a narrow window in which we can set that program back a very long time." J.D. Vance stated that it would have been irresponsible for President Donald Trump to wait, and "not to take the action that he did.”
