New Iranian attack on Israel: here's what is known
Iran has launched a new attack on Tel Aviv, Israel, amid a series of hostilities. The offensive followed a previous missile that hit Bat Yam, another Israeli city.

A new Iranian attack has been reported on Tel Aviv, Israel. The round of attacks occurred after, earlier today, Iran launched another missile strike that hit Bat Yam, another Israeli city, and attacked Mashhad airport in the east of the country. Several damages are being reported through social media.
The first attack targeted Mashhad International Airport, the longest-range attack during the conflict. According to the Israel Defense Forces, the target was an Iranian refueling plane that had landed in that city. The next round of missiles began just a few minutes later, in Tel Aviv.
Israel tried to stop the missiles
After the attack on Masshad, the Israel Defense Forces detected new missiles heading towards the country. The military urged its citizens to head for protective shelters while assuring them that defense systems were working to intercept the threat.
However, images posted on social networks show that the Iron Dome failed to stop the attacks, which finally landed in the northern city of Haifa. The rest of the missiles hit Tel Aviv, including Ben Gurion International Airport and a synagogue near Kiryat Gat. According to the Health Ministry of Iran, at least 224 people has dead in those attacks.
Netanyahu says he attacked Iran to prevent a “nuclear holocaust”
Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said to Fox News that the attacks are a response to their intelligence forces saying that Iran was close to develop an initial nuclear weapon. The Prime Minister also said that they detected sufficient enriched uranium for 9 bombs.
"This is something we could not accept under any circumstances," Netanyahu continued. "We are not going to allow a second holocaust, a nuclear holocaust. We already had one, in the last century. The Jewish state is not going to allow another holocaust to be committed against the Jewish people. It will not happen."
According to Eyal Zamir, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff, they will be continuing the operation against Iran on the third day in a row of attacks between the two nations.
Colonel Reza Sayad, spokesman for the Iranian armed forces, emitted an official statement saying that their citizens should not approach “vital, sensitive and important places”.
