Kirk Barton’s criminal record
According to court records, he has been charged with with many traffic-related offenses in the past and other non-related issues. The first one, was in 2018, when after an incident at The Boggey Inn, Barton slammed a taxi van door into an officer’s arm; which resulted in him being charged with felonious assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
The second incident, while he did not particularly get in trouble with the law, led to the state of Ohio banning him and the website he co-founded, "Buckeye Scoop," from covering Ohio State events due to unauthorized access to practice footage used to report on the team.
