As the Archbishop of Manila and currently, as head of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelization, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle has a lot of experience. His role in the Catholic Church has afforded him a significant influence, not only in his home country, but also in developing countries.
Cardinal Tagle and the legacy of Pope Francis’ vision
If Tagle becomes the next pontiff, he would be the first Asian pope in history. Additionally, as his stances are the same as Pope Francis in many topics, his hypothetical papacy would be focused on reforms making the Church more companionate towards marginalized groups; just like Pope Francis.

However, Tagle is currently 67, which may not appear too young in common circles, but it is considered young in the Vatican, as few cardinals want a very long pontificate.
