Gavin Adcock, a promising country music artist from Georgia, was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol on May 21 in Wilson County.

The 26-year-old was charged with reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. Adcock posted a $1,000 bond and was released early May 22. He is expected to continue his "Need To" tour in Grant, Oklahoma, on May 24.

Gavin Adcock's legal problems

This is not the first time the musician has had an encounter with law enforcement. In 2023, he publically admitted to having been arrested "one time" over a suspended license.

"I sat in there for ten hours and made friends with my cellmates," he recalled in his social media post.

Gavin Adcock's upcoming performances and tour schedule

However, his recent arrest seems to have no impact in his tour schedule and, in the coming weeks, Adcock is scheduled to appear at CMA Fest's Riverfront Stage on June 5; and as an opener for Morgan Wallen during his "I'm The Problem stadium tour".

Despite his previous encounters with the law, Adock's debut album, "Actin' Up Again" was the most streamed country debut album of 2024 with more than 350 million streams.
