TikTok Star Anna Grace Phelan dies at 19 after Courageous Brain Cancer battle
At just 19, TikTok star Anna Grace Phelan turned her battle with brain cancer into a story of faith, courage, and connection; leaving behind a legacy that touched thousands, including fellow celebrities.

On May 23, 2025, Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old TikTok influencer from Georgia, tragically died less than a year after being diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Phelan's family shared the news of her death on her TikTok account with a heartfelt message thanking everyone for their support and prayers throughout her battle.
In the summer of 2024 before starting college, Phelan began to experience symptoms that included numbness and vision changes. After further examination, she received an MRI that found a lesion on her brain and was diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor. Phelan did not let the grim news dim her hopes or faith and shared her journey on social media and inspired many through her faith.

Phelan chronicled her illness on TikTok while she was sick, gathering nearly 140,000 followers. She posted updates about her treatments, including radiation therapy, and openly shared her struggles. In her last video posted on May 14, Phelan indicated that her tumor had continued to grow and was inoperable but maintained her gratitude and hope.
Phelan's story connected with many people, and a GoFundMe was launched in Phelan's name that raised over $65,000 to help with care for her. Phelan's candor and fortitude provided solace and inspiration to others in similar situations. Her family intends to honor her with a funeral service, scheduled for May 29, at Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County, Georgia.

Phelan was born in Florida and lived in Georgia. She was known for her strong Christian faith, which she expressed through her videos. Her family said she was a light in the world whose testimony of faith inspired hundreds and thousands of lives. She is survived by her parents, William "Buddy" Phelan and Nadine Phelan; brother, Harper David Phelan; and family.
