Justin Bieber celebrates Hailey Bieber’s billionaire status after Rhode skincare sale

Justin Bieber took to Instagram to celebrate his wife Hailey Bieber’s official billionaire status, following the billion-dollar acquisition of her skincare brand Rhode by e.l.f. Beauty.

His post came right after she announced the beauty brand's acquisition of Rhode skincare.

Justin Bieber celebrates Hailey Bieber's achievement

On May 28, the "Sorry" singer posted a carrousel of pictures in which you could see him hugging Hailey and kissing her cheek.

The singer also posted on his account screenshots of his wife's post without a caption, which many users said jokingly he was in "caption jail", after the faux-pass he made last week when he made a post congratulating Hailey for her Vogue cover.

In the caption, he revealed that in a fight he told her she would never appear in the cover of the magazine, and he apologized for it in the caption. Due to the backlash, he deleted the post and re-uploaded it with emojis for a caption.

Rhode’s billion-dollar sale marks major success

On Wednesday morning, e.l.f. Beauty revealed its $1 billion deal to acquire Rhode, comprising $800 million in cash and stock upfront, plus up to $200 million more contingent on Rhode’s future performance.

“When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company,” Hailey said on social media Wednesday. “That’s why today I’m incredibly excited and proud to announce that we’re partnering with elf Beauty to take us into this next phase.”  Hailey concluded her message with, “This is just the beginning.”
