Athenna Crosby, a 26-year-old woman from San José, California, will be the next representative of the United States at the Miss World 2025 pageant. She has heritage connections to Latin America through her mother, who is from Cabimas, Venezuela. Besides modeling, Crosby has built a diverse career as an actress, TV host and singer.
Crosby was graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences from the Utah Valley University. Her journey in pageantry began early when she won the title of Miss California Teen USA in 2016 and later competing successfully in Miss California USA. In 2024, she earned the prestigious title of Miss World USA, and represent the United States on the beauty pageant.

What is Athenna Crosby's career in pageantry?
The 26-year-old began her career as a beauty pageant competitor at a young age when she was crowned Miss California Teen USA in 2016. She later competed in Miss California USA in 2022 and 2023, placing third and fourth, respectively.
Athenna Crosby's major breakthrough came in 2024 when she was crowned Miss World USA in Seattle, marking an accomplishment in her pageant career.
In addition to modeling, Crosby is also known for performing music. She has performed at the Dalai Lama's 80th birthday celebration and has also performed for major sporting events, such as MLB's game between the Giants and the Padres.
In terms of music, she demonstrates her skill by playing several instruments which include: saxophone, bass guitar and the cuatro.
Athenna Crosby's social impact
Outside of her work in pageantry, Athenna Crosby is passionate about social causes through her initiative "ADRX: My Brother Adrian's Story," which promotes inclusion and support others with autism.
The initiative is inspired by her brother Adrian's experience, who was arrested at the age of 13 for his autism, as highlighted on the official Miss World website.
Athenna Crosby has also worked with Best Buddies, an organization that enhances access and inclusion to individuals with disabilities. Her social commitment resulted in her receiving "Champion of the year" in the San Francisco Bay Area for her outstanding advocacy.
