Sabrina Carpenter is back for the Summer of 2025! A week after releasing her single "Manchild", the Grammy Award winner has officially announced her brand - new album "Man’s Best Friend" for August 29 on a social media post, via Instagram.
The cover shows Sabrina Carpenter looking at the camera in a short black dress and high heels, kneeling on the floor with one hand on the floor, and the other one grabbing a faceless man's leg; while he is grabbing her hair. The caption reads, "I can't wait for it to be yours".

This announcement marks Sabrina Carpenter's seventh studio album, almost a year later after she dropped the fan-favorite album "Short n' Sweet"; with the singles “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” “Taste” and “Bed Chem,” launching Carpenter into a new level of stardom.

Sabrina Carpenter addressed a letter to her fans saying that she did not expect to release a new record so soon, "but life was really happening to me and inspiration struck!". According to the letter, the process of making "Man’s Best Friend" was like a gift that should not be "taken for granted", she said.
"Manchild"- the main single of Carpenter's new album
"Manchild" was dropped a week ago, as a critique of immature men, and debuted on the Global Spotify chart as the #1 song with 8.05 million streams. This song currently holds the record for biggest streaming debut of the year for a female artist.
Sabrina Carpenter teased the song a couple of days before, showing a small clip of her being on the highway with high heels, denim shorts, a white blouse and her iconic hair do.
