How to play the Mega Millions Lottery in the United States?

To participate in the Mega Millions draw, players must select five main numbers ranging from 1 to 70, along with an additional number known as the Mega Ball, which must be between 1 and 25. For those who prefer not to choose their numbers manually, the "Quick Pick" option generates a random selection automatically.

As an optional feature, players can add the Megaplier for an extra $1. This multiplier increases non-jackpot prizes (secondary winnings) by 2 to 5 times, depending on the Megaplier number drawn.

To win the jackpot, a player must match all five main numbers plus the Mega Ball.
