Owning a home is a common goal among many residents and immigrants in the United States. However, high market prices can make this goal difficult. In response, various social programs have emerged to support those most in need, such as the HOME program in Texas.

This program is aimed at residents of the city of Belton and aims to facilitate the purchase or remodeling of homes through state support. The program offers free assistance to those who meet the established requirements.

Requirements to access the HOME program in 2025

To be eligible for the HOME program, applicants must meet the following four conditions:

• Be part of a family of four or fewer.

• Own land in Belton.

• Have no tax debts.

• Reside within the city limits of Belton, Texas.

These conditions seek to prioritize families with specific needs and ensure that funds are allocated to established residents of the local community.
