Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid continues to take full responsibility for the team’s Super Bowl defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the Chiefs’ potential, they were quickly outpaced by the Eagles’ strong start, leaving fans puzzled by the lack of impact from star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Following the game, many pointed fingers at Reid, with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith among those who criticized him. "There’s no excuse for someone known as a great playcaller," Smith stated. He further added, “Mahomes, considered one of the top two quarterbacks in history, had a QBR of 1. No way is he that bad. Even on his worst day, he could do better. Someone on the team had to contribute to this performance, and it’s Andy Reid. This will stick with him."
However, Reid quickly dismissed these remarks, choosing to take responsibility for the loss. "Credit to our fans for their unwavering support," Reid said after the game. "Today was tough. We didn’t perform well in any area and I didn’t coach well enough. The Eagles did a great job."
He also expressed pride in his team’s efforts throughout the season, saying, "I’m proud of the fight our guys showed this year, and all the games they played over the past few years. My hat’s off to them for that."
