The extended format aims to increase greater competitive balance and ensure more representative global participation. The roster consists of:

  • 12 European clubs
  • 6 South American clubs
  • 4 North American clubs
  • 4 African clubs
  • 4 Asian clubs
  • 2 Oceania clubs
  • Group Stage Followed by Knockout Rounds

The competition will begin with a group stage, where the 32 participants are divided into eight groups of four participants each. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stage, which includes the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and final championship match. This is similar to traditional FIFA World Cup organization, optimizing the number of final and thrilling games in the tournament.
