Real Madrid’s Luka Modrić to leave club after Club World Cup

Luka Modrić, 39 years old and still a Croatian midfielder, declared that he'll leave Real Madrid after the upcoming Club World Cup, ending a fairy tale 13-year run with the club. Luka will have joined Real Madrid from Tottenham that year in August 2012, and since the move Modrić has enjoyed success, winning 28 major trophies, including the prospect of a sixth Champions League title and a fourth La Liga title.
