Krispy Kreme is coming to the gamers rescue. In a recent post in X, the donut shop is offering a free original glazed donut this Saturday from 5 - 7pm "because sweet rewards don’t need a server".

This announcement came after PlayStation console users began reporting issues Friday at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT, and the problems continued through Saturday, according to the PlayStation Network.

Most of the features of the PSN, the online server that users need to play online, such as signing in, launching games/apps/network features, purchasing products on the PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct, are not working. This has caused a very high number of frustrated gamers to take their opinions to social media.

The PSN is still down... or is it?

According to the PlayStation's Subreddit, some users have been able to access their accounts and continue playing as normal. Also, Fortnite's Status X account says that some players have been able to log in and play. However, as this is not the case for everyone, gamers on social media have expressed their outrage at the long outage; as most in most cases, the system is down for an hour or two.

And as the hours continue to pass, it does not look like gamers will be happier anytime soon.

What’s The Reason For The Outage?

The reason is still unknown. PlayStation and Sony have not yet offered an explanation, and that is one of the number one reason for the outrage among their users; as the system has been down for over 20 hours.
