Coyote Vs. Acme: from Warner Bros to Ketchup Entertainment
While Coyote Vs. Acme performed well in screen tests, Warner Bros made the decision to shelve the film due to cost-cutting measures. This decision did not sit well with many of the figures working in the film, especially Will Forte, who has previously spoken against Warner's decision in an interview by Movie Web.
However, Ketchup Entertainment stepped in, acquiring the rights and breathing new life into the film. CEO Gareth West expressed excitement about the movie’s potential, noting that it will appeal to both longtime Looney Tunes fans and a new generation of viewers.
