Benson Boone paid a heartfelt homage to Queen during his Coachella set, bringing out Brian May to perform "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Benson Boone performed in front of over 50,000 fans at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Wearing a white jumpsuit, he fully leaned into the Freddy Mercury comparisons by engaging the crowd with Queen's vocalist's iconic “Ay-Oh” chant.

Brian May joins Benson Boone on stage for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’
Queen’s lead guitarist, Brian May, surprised everyone when he joined Benson Boone on stage to perform one of Queen’s most beloved songs, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The performance was one of the most memorable of the night as pyrotechnics lit up the sky. Boon closed his set with his song “Beautiful Things.”
Brian May’s health update
Brian May's appearance at Coachella was even more surprising after he revealed in 2024 he suffered "a minor stroke". However, he still joined Boone on the stage and even posted a picture with him on social media with the caption: “Do we look happy?!! Gonna treasure this moment with @bensonboone - a truly golden 22-year-old prodigy.”

On his website he stated that: "The good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days and I say this because it was in some doubt because that little health hiccup that I mentioned happened about a week ago."
