Duolingo plans to stop using contractor for repetitive and tedious tasks that can be automated by AI, including content creation. According to CEO Luis von Ahn, the changes are “about removing bottlenecks” so they can focus on "creative work and real problems" and assured the public they did not need to worry over the workers as this is not about "replacing Duos with AI.”
