Cat survives after falling with owners who died at Bryce Canyon National Park
According to a spokesperson for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, rescue teams found a cat in a "black, soft-sided carrier, covered in dirt and mud," near Nannen and Crane which meant the cat had likely fallen with them.
However, the 12-year-old cat did not present any kind of serious injury and was matted and "a bit sore". According to the spokesperson, there wasn't any kind of identification with the cat, which is why they decided to name it Mirage, because given the fact that she was constricted in a carrier; makes her survival even more incredible.
