The incident was reported at 12:46 p.m., with Oneida County 911 Dispatch issuing an alert for shots fired. Authorities, including New Hartford Police, New York State Police, Oneida County Sheriff's Office, and S.W.A.T. teams, quickly responded to secure the area and lock down the mall.
