While the nominees are always the center of attention, the presenters play a pivotal role in making the evening a memorable experience. Whether they are honoring the best in film or introducing exciting new categories, these stars bring an extra layer of charm and energy to the Oscars stage. Here’s everything you need to know about who will be presenting at the 97th Academy Awards, and what to expect from one of the biggest nights in entertainment.

These stars, all previous Academy Award winners, will be lending their presence to the prestigious event.

Last year’s Oscar winners take the stage

Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. both took home Oscars in 2024 for 'Oppenheimer'—Murphy won 'Best Actor', while Downey received 'Best Supporting Actor'. Emma Stone won 'Best Actress' for her role in 'Poor Things', and Da’Vine Joy Randolph claimed the 'Best Supporting Actress' award for 'The Holdovers'.

It’s tradition for the previous year’s Oscar winners to return the following year as presenters in categories of the opposite gender. Therefore, fans can expect Murphy and Downey to present 'Best Actress' and 'Best Supporting Actress', while Stone and Randolph will present 'Best Actor' and 'Best Supporting Actor', respectively.
