On Sunday, Elon Musk gave away $1 million dollars to 2 Wisconsin voters ahead of the state’s Supreme Court election. This decision has obviously sparked controversy among the public sphere.

The Wisconsin Attorney General, Josh Kaul, has filed a lawsuit against the billionaire with the argument that the giveaway breaks the state law, which prohibits offering anything of value to induce votes.
