While Ocasio-Cortez was talking about the importance of a good healthcare system, and the administration's budget cuts, when a protester shouted claims about the ongoing conflict in Gaza between Israel and Palestine. "I am a healthcare worker and I want to know what you're doing about the genocide in Gaza!" the protester started shouting at the congresswoman.
The crowd at the event in Queens booed the protester in an attempt to silence her, but it was in vain. She kept calling AOC a "liar" and a "war criminal."

After authorities led the protester out of the room voluntarily, Ocasio-Cortez addressed the crowd, stating she had some ground rules for these events. “I more than welcome people who disagree or are super pissed off at me for any issue to come, but we have some ground rules here,” she said.
“Please wait for the Q&A, because we don’t want to deprive all of our neighbors of the ability to have information,” stated Ocasio-Cortez It is not surprising this kind of thing happened in an AOC event, as there are many rumors she has aspirations towards the White House.
