Neil Young has stepped into the escalating feud between former President Donald Trump and music icons Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift, firmly aligning himself with the artists.
Young took to his website to call out Trump, accusing him of ignoring pressing national issues while focusing on criticizing musicians.

Young slams Trump for ignoring national crises
According to the post Neil Young wrote in his website, Donald Trump's biggest problem comes from worrying more about what musicians think about him, than world-class issues. "Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza. That’s your problem.”
Neil Young concluded his message urging Republicans to "wake up" and recognize the president is out of control, reminding them Trump works for the country
What happened between Trump, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift?
After Springsteen criticized him calling his administration “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous” on the E Street Band's European tour where he performed as an opener, Donald Trump called the musician “highly overrated” and a “dried out prune” on Truth Social.

The United States president also slammed Taylor Swift, for having endorsed Kamala Harris in 2024. "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she’s no longer 'HOT?'" the president wrote.
