After tearing the suite apart looking for the singer, he entered the bedroom where Cassie was staying, and when she later came out of the room she had visible injuries; including a swollen eye and bloodied lip. Morales took the singer back home and had a doctor friend to check on her, who advised her to ho to the emergency room. Cassie refused.
Morales declared on the stand that she did not call the police because she was afraid of the rapper.
