Trump warns Putin is “playing with fire” as Ukraine peace talks continue
Trump condemns Putin’s deadly Ukraine attacks during peace talks, calling him “crazy” and saying he is “playing with fire.”

President Donald Trump voiced strong disapproval of recent Russian attacks on Ukraine, calling them "very disappointing" given ongoing negotiation efforts for peace. This is not the first time this week, in which Donald Trump has criticized the Russian leader for the way he is handling the conflict with Ukraine.
On May 28, during an Oval Office event, Trump expressed his frustration with the situation, "I'm very disappointed at what happened a couple of nights now where people were killed in the middle of what you would call a negotiation".

Putin’s aerial assault kills civilians amid peace talks
Trump's comments happened after Russian forces sent 367 drones and missiles at Ukrainian cities over the weekend. This is, until now, the largest aerial attack of the war, leaving at least 12 people dead and injuring many more.
Later, on May 25, Trump posted on Truth Social, that Putin had "gone absolutely crazy." However, the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, dismissed Trump’s remarks as emotional, and stated that Putin's actions are always in Russia's best interests.

On May 27, Russia continued his assault on Ukraine, which prompted Trump to post again on Truth Social to warn him he is "playing with fire".
