Kremlin claims no damage after Ukraine hits Crimea bridge again
Russia says they suffered "no damages" after Ukraine's SBU attacked the Crimean Bridge with underwater explosives.

On June 4, after Ukraine's attack on the Kerch Bridge with underwater explosives, Russia's spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov, finally talked about the situation.
According to Peskov, while "there was indeed an explosion", the bridge remains fully operational and "nothing was damaged".
Ukraine's attack on the Kerch Bridge
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), announced on June 3 via Telegram a "big" hit against Russian forces. According to them, almost 1,100 kilograms of explosives were activated at 4:44 a.m., damaging underwater pillars of the bridge.
While the bridge was suspended for operation for almost 3 hours without giving any further reason, it was later reopened and functioning as normal.
Kerch Bridge: A legitimate target?
According to the head of the SBU, Vasul Malyuk, the bridge was a justifiable target as it is Russia's main line of supply, as well as the only way of transportation between the mainland and the Crimean Peninsula, which was illegally annexed to Russia in 2014.
Additionally, the bridge, a flagship project for the Russian President Vladimir Putin; was the main tool Russian forces used during their invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Vasul Malyuk, was also the head of operations behind the attack on Russia's docked planes earlier this week. That attack was the biggest Russia had suffered since the war began in 2022.
