Former White House adviser wants to deported Musk from the U.S.
Steve Bannon, urged Donald Trump to investigate Elon Musk's immigration status following his criticism of the former president's agenda on social media.

Steve Bannon, former White House adviser Steve Bannon, called on President Donald Trump to investigate Elon Musk's migration status. Bannon wants to deport the South African businessman after he criticized Trump's agenda on social media last Thursday.
Bannon is a prominent MAGA insider and the host of his own live webcast, "Bannon's War Room." During today's live, Bannon continued his attacks on Musk, talking about his work as the head of the White House's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Bannon worked for Trump's first term
Bannon was always close to Trump, supporting him during his first campaign and assuming the role of campaign manager. During the President's first term, he was designated as chief of staff alongside Reince Priebus. On August 16, 2017, he attempted an interview with The American Prospect, and his controversial statements led to his departure from the administration.
“Elon Musk is illegal, and he’s got to go,” Bannon said. “He’s illegal? Deport immediately (...) You’re going to ship these other people home. Let’s start with the South Africans, OK?" That last declaration alludes to Trump's sweeping immigration crackdown and his recent travel ban to 12 countries, starting next Monday.

Why are Musk and Trump against each other?
The relationship between the President and the tech-millionaire began to break in recent days. The South-African lashed out over Trump-backed megabill. When Trump defended the bill, Musk called it a "disgusting abomination." Trump responded, saying that he feels "very disappointed" in the man who was the major donor in this election campaign.
After that, they continued the attacks via social media. Musk owns X (formerly Twitter) and Trump owns Truth Social, and they used their accounts to face each other. In their posts, Musk claimed that the President is involved with the Epstein case, and as a result of the conflict, Tesla's stock fell 8%, and SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft mission was canceled.
