The FBI steps up its manhunt, offering $50K to catch the suspect behind a violent assault on a federal officer amid the chaos of LA protests.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly threw rocks at police vehicles last Saturday afternoon during protests in Los Angeles.
According to the FBI, this incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The protester was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a white cap, white Nike sneakers, and a motorcycle helmet.

The FBI also reported that during the protests, the man threw rocks at police vehicles on Alondra Boulevard in Paramount, injuring a federal officer and damaging government vehicles at the protest.

The agency is offering a $50,000 reward for any information that may lead to the identification, arrest, and eventual conviction of the accused. FBI Assistant Director Dan Bongino warned anyone who chooses to be violent toward a federal officer to investigate all possible leads to determine the suspect's whereabouts and those that occur during the protest.

Dan Bongino, assistant director of the FBI, warned that they will investigate all possible leads to find the whereabouts of the suspect and those that occur during the protest for anyone who is violent with a federal agent. "We will investigate and follow up on all available leads regarding the assault on a federal agent, in addition to the numerous arrests already made," Bongino commented in a post on his X account.

On the other hand, Bongino mentioned that FBI Director Kash Patel and he have agreed to deploy all investigative and technological tools to determine the suspect's whereabouts. "Recently, the Director and I notified our teams to use all our investigative and technological tools to pursue you long after order is established," Bongino commented.
