Donald Trump denies media claims of him reaching out to Iran for peace talks. He calls them "fake news"

U.S. President Donald Trump took to social media to clarify some recent rumors. On June 17, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that media claims of him reaching out to Iran with peace talks in mind are absolutely not true "in any way, shape or form".
The statement comes after a wave of airstrikes between Israel and Iran left millions of people affected last week. As Iran still refuses to sign a deal offered by the U.S. to reign in their nuclear program, Trump blames them for all the lives lost to the violence.
