14-Year-Old goes fishing on Lake Michigan and stumbles upon something that left him speechless
A teenager was fishing on Lake Michigan when he catches an unusual fish species. This is the story.

In one of the most famous lakes in the United States, Lake Michigan, a 14-year-old teenager managed to catch an unusual species of fish for the area: a walleye. While his original plan was to catch a coho salmon, the discovery turned into an unforgettable moment for the family.
Luke Efantis, a young man from Muster, Indiana, reeled in a 30-inch, 9-pound walleye. He caught the impressive fish using a classic salmon lure, a pink Hot 'N Tot.

14-Year-Old catch an unusual fish in Lake Michigan
According to the Chicago Sun Times, on Saturday he and his father traveled for nearly two hours to Portage with the goal of catching a salmon using a classic salmon lure, the pink Hot 'N Tot. However, what they pulled from the water was something unexpected.
"It was the only fish we caught today", Gust, Luke's father, said in a text message. "That's the fish to catch if you're only going to get one", he added.
While this type of fish is not uncommon in Lake Michigan, most people typically fish for trout, salmon, and perch.
“He caught a couple walleye a few years back, but they were on a charter on Lake Erie and nowhere near this size, maybe 3-pounders,” Gust messaged.
