NYC woman stabs man with scissors after he accidentally photographed her, Police say
New York police released surveillance images of a woman who stabbed a photographer in the back after he took her photo without permission. The incident happened in West Village, Manhattan.

In the streets of New York, an amateur photographer was attacked with scissors by a well-dressed woman after she was captured in a photo without her consent. Police present at the scene confirmed the incident, which has shocked passersby.
The woman, seen in videos wearing a long dress, heels, and sunglasses, assaulted a 36-year-old man while he was taking photos for his social media in the West Village neighborhood around 4:20 p.m. on Monday, May 5, according to official reports.

According to police officers who responded to the case, the woman initially struck the man on the arm before starting an argument, apparently upset upon discovering he had taken a photo focused on her. Moments later, the woman pulled scissors from her pocket and stabbed him in the back.
After committing the violent attack in public, she fled quickly southbound along Varick Street and then entered a nearby subway station, where she disappeared from the sight of witnesses and authorities.

NY Police released photos and videos of the woman
On Wednesday night, the New York Police Department released surveillance images and a video of the suspect, showing her wearing a black dress, leather jacket, and heels.
In some clips, she is seen wearing sunglasses, although she apparently removed them before entering the subway station. The victim declined medical attention at the scene, as the injuries were considered minor.
