Dua Lipa confirms engagement to Callum Turner, shows off custom ring
Singer Dua Lipa, 29, says she’s “obsessed” with engagement ring from actor Callum Turner, 35.
Pop star Dua Lipa has announced her engagement to British actor Callum Turner in her recent interview with British Vogue. The 29-year old singer announced it over dinner with British Vogue, calling the moment "really exciting," and saying her ring was made to order with the help of closest friends and her sister by Turner.
"I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me," Lipa insisted, noting that it was "so special" that Turner thought of the people who are closest to her when designing the engagement ring. The pair, who began publicly dating in early 2024, are wearing their engagement "off," and have yet to make any decisions on wedding plans.

From romance rumors to red carpet
In January, rumors began regarding Dua Lipa and Callum Turner dating after they were seen dancing closely together at the Masters of the Air premiere afterparty in London. Since then, the two have been somewhat private, but have been spotted together at some dinners and events.
In July, the two posted on Instagram their relationship was official when Lipa posted adorable photos of them at Glastonbury Festival. The couple kissed in 2025 in their New Year’s giveaway. The couple made their first red carpet appearance at the Met Gala in May 2025, and decided to show their relationship in a public way.
The ring and what comes next
Rumors about their engagement began after Dua Lipa posted Instagram stories of her wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, shortly thereafter she confirmed she was engaged and said how nice it was to receive an engagement ring that was handmade by people that knew her and had spent time creating it.
Though they have not done anything in terms of wedding planning, Lipa said that since the engagement, she has a new outlook on being engaged, as she never pictured herself as a bride, and now she is inquiring what she would even get married in. For now, with Lipa still on tour and Turner busy with filming, the couple is just taking this new period in their lives in stride.
