MLB Opening Day 2025: Where to watch the inaugural game of baseball's big league
Baseball is back! Everything is ready for MLB Opening Day. Take a look at the full schedule and where to watch the inaugural game.

After 148 days without Major League Baseball, excluding any preseason or spring training games, the MLB action finally returns with Opening Day. Twenty-nine teams will compete for the title held by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who claimed the World Series crown last October by defeating the New York Yankees.
Here is Thursday's Opening Day schedule, including how you can watch the magic unfold.

When is MLB Opening Day 2025?
The Dodgers and Cubs kicked off the season with the Tokyo Series on March 18 and 19, where L.A. swept the two-game set. The rest of the MLB teams will start their season on Thursday, March 27, while the Colorado Rockies and Tampa Bay Rays will have to wait until Friday for their season opener at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.
How to watch the MLB Opening Day 2025?
For a national audience, there are two opportunities to watch Opening Day. ESPN will broadcast the Brewers vs. Yankees at 3:05 p.m. ET, followed by the defending World Series champions, the Dodgers, facing the Tigers at 7:10 p.m. ET. MLB Network will provide regional coverage of the Cubs-Diamondbacks and A's-Mariners night games.
To stream the games, those available on ESPN and MLB Network can also be watched through MLB.tv or FuboTV, which offers a free trial for new users. Please note that blackout restrictions may apply to certain games on MLB.tv throughout the season.
