In a bold move, Bette Midler has parted ways with her Tesla, expressing her opposition to the company’s founder, Elon Musk. The renowned actress and singer made her decision public in an Instagram post, where she stated that selling her Tesla was a "joyful day."

Midler referred to the car as a "symbol of racism, greed, and ignorance," a comment that seemed to reflect her disapproval of Musk's political influence and involvement with the Trump administration.

Bette Midler sells Tesla over Elon Musk's involvement in politics

The 79-year-old actress announced she had sold her Tesla over an Instagram post, expressing how much joy she felt over no longer having any kind of association with the brand.

While it's no surprise Bette Middler referred that way towards Elon Musk's brand giver her long-standing feud with Donald Trump, she claimed she felt instant relieve, saying "Life is suddenly so much better".

Bette Midler is not the only one going with this approach. Many other celebrities have also sold their Teslas to show they don't support Elon Musk. Some of them are:

  • Sheryl Crow: The famous singer also made a splash when she posted an Instagram video waving goodbye to her Tesla while it's being towed away.
