In 2023, Jeremy Renner suffered an accident while using a snow blower, and while on an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he shared how Paul made him laugh with a Cameo video he sent him completely unprompted.
"Anybody know Cameo? Where they can pay money and a movie star can say, 'Hey, Happy Birthday!' " he continued. "So he made a fake one. I didn't even ask him to. He made a fake one like I paid him money for a Cameo".
Renner shared that for the entire video, Rudd referred to him as "Jerry" while speaking to him as if he was a fan. "Hey Jerry, I heard you were a little banged up — got into a fight with a snow blower, apparently?"
"Take care, and take it easy for a while. And next time, maybe just let the snow melt," he added with a laugh. "Feel better Jerry."
