"The White Potus" parody aired on April 13 and depicted Donald Trump, his family and several of his allies in the exaggerated style of The White Lotus.
However, the characterization of Aimee Lou Wood's character, was what drew criticism. The actress pronounced herself on Instagram Stories "I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny," she shared with her followers.

"Yes, take the piss for sure — that's what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?" she added.

Fans support Aimee Lou Wood
Many fans supported her stance, voicing their disagreement with the way Wood was portrayed. Wood's character was not political unlike the rest of the people being made fun of in the sketch.
