150+ dogs rescued from 'extremely poor' conditions in Utah home
Authorities rescue over 150 dogs from a Utah home where they were living in overcrowded, poor conditions. The dogs are now receiving medical care and shelter support.

On April 15, authorities in Utah rescued more than 150 dogs from a home in Weber County, just north of Salt Lake City.
The rescue operation followed a welfare check after an animal neglect report indicated that the dogs were living in "extremely poor and overcrowded" conditions. The Ogden Police Department responded with animal services to help transport the animals to safety.
Current care and shelter support for the Utah rescued dogs
The dogs discovered in the Utah house are now receiving veterinary care and medical evaluations, according to the Ogden Police Department. At the same time, they have confirmed that the animals are being closely monitored and given the necessary medical and shelter support they need.
However, the dogs are not yet up for adoption. Police officers stated that the animals must undergo a required treatment. Still, everyone who's interested does not have to wait much, as adoption is expected to begin over next week.
Ongoing investigation for Utah's +150 abandoned dogs
While the investigation for the case continues, Ogden Police has not yet revealed if any arrests have been made regarding the condition in which the dogs were found.
For now, the animals are being quarantined in kennels to prevent them from spreading or catching deceases. Weber County Animal Services is very grateful to those who have contributed to the well-being of the found dogs.
