Car linked to Minnesota Lawmaker shooting suspect found 50+ miles away
A few hours ago, the car of Vance Boelter, the man suspected by authorities of killing two Democratic lawmakers and their wives, was found.

The car allegedly belonging to Vance Boelter, the suspect accused of shooting two Democratic lawmakers and his wife last weekend, has just been found. The car was discovered 50 miles from where the fatal incident occurred in Minnesota.
A few hours ago, an emergency alert was issued to residents of Sibley County. This alert emphasized that authorities found the vehicle between Minnesota Highway 25 and Avenue 301 in Faxon Township.

It was also mentioned that the accused has not yet been located to this day, and it was emphasized that local police have not yet located him. Keep the doors locked and the vehicles secured. Law enforcement will be responding to residences in the area to request records,” the message read.
It was also reported that a cowboy hat was found at the scene. Resident Mike Liebhard said he found the hat lying near the intersection. He described the vehicle as an antique car resembling a Buick.
Minnesota suspect last seen in cowboy hat, may be hiding in Sibley County
Authorities previously reported that Boelter was last seen with the following items: a light-colored cowboy hat, a long-sleeved shirt or coat with a dark-colored collar, a dark-colored purse, and light-colored pants.
Local police have reported to CBS News that the defendant has a previous address in Sibley County. However, Boelter's last known address is in north Minneapolis. As of the middle of last year, Sibley County had 15,194 people living there. Therefore, if the defendant were found there, it would be easier to identify him.
