CBP reminds international travelers of entry requirements to US for FIFA Club World Cup 2025
With the arrival of international tourists for the Club World Cup, the agency will implement new technologies to help expedite the process of entering the United States.

The Club World Cup kicked off yesterday with the match between Al-Ahly and Inter Miami, a tournament that is highly anticipated due to the competing teams. In light of this, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has shared tips for travelers heading to the United States to attend the event, which will culminate with the final on July 13.
CBP organized an event at Fort Worth International Airport in Dallas, specifically targeting international tourists to ensure they are aware of new technologies aimed at making the entry process more rigorous yet streamlined. "If visa terms are violated, travelers may be detained and deported," they stated at the event.

On the other hand, CBP clarified that tourists must comply with all legal requirements to enter the United States. "We remind visitors that they must have proper documentation, undergo background checks and inspections, and comply with the terms of their visa," stressing their commitment to enhancing national security.
Diane J. Sabatino, the agency's acting executive commissioner, emphasized the role of technology in improving the process. "By leveraging advanced technologies and mobile applications, we are transforming airport inspections into a seamless, contactless process, allowing for quicker risk identification and efficient processing of legitimate visitors," Sabatino said.
CBP expands biometric screening and seamless entry systems at major U.S. airports
Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP) involves photographing travelers using modern technology that includes automated capture, enabling a full screening (including biometric verification) before CBP officers intervene.
This technology will be implemented at the following airports:
- Orlando International Airport
- Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport
- Denver International Airport
- Charlotte-Douglas International Airport
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
- Chicago O'Hare International Airport
- Los Angeles International Airport
- Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
- Cross Border Xpress Terminal, connected to Tijuana International Airport
Meanwhile, the Seamless Border Entry (SBE) system simplifies the entry process using only biometric technology and automated systems. This allows Global Entry processes to be completed with minimal officer involvement.
This technology will be available at the following airports:
- Los Angeles International Airport
- Miami International Airport
- Washington-Dulles International Airport
- Chicago O'Hare International Airport
- Newark Liberty International Airport
- George Bush Intercontinental Airport
