JD Vance on Iran-Israel War: Trump "may decide to take further action"
According to the UN, Iran has reached weapons-grade uranium enrichment levels. Vance stresses the need to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.

Vice President J.D. Vance posted on X on Tuesday, warning about a potential intervention by Donald Trump in the Iran-Israel war. Iran has increased its uranium enrichment to weapons-grade levels, according to the United Nations. The President’s intervention aims to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
"He may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment. That decision ultimately belongs to the president. And of course, people are right to be worried about foreign entanglements after the last 25 years of idiotic foreign policy," read the post on X.
What else did JD Vance posted on X?
The statement was initially intended to explain, from an insider perspective, what is happening regarding Iran’s enrichment. He first emphasized that the President has encouraged a “deal with the Iranians” to prevent them from developing a nuclear weapon. "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon," the Vice President wrote. Vance also stated that it would happen "the easy way or the 'other' way."
Next, the Vice President criticized Iran's civilian nuclear program. He said that, for civilian purposes, Iran has exceeded the necessary enrichment level and violated its non-proliferation agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). "It’s one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It’s another thing to demand sophisticated enrichment capacity," Vance posted.

JD Vance asked for trust the President
However, the Vice President remarked that the President prefers to maintain the U.S. military’s focus on "protecting our troops and protecting our citizens." He also called for a "vote of trust," saying that Trump has earned it and assuring that he is focused solely on "the American people's goals."
Despite this statement, Donald Trump recently posted on Truth Social, saying that the U.S. is not going to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, "at least for now." "But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin," the post concluded.
