Tucker Carlson face Sen. Ted Cruz about Iran: "You don't know anything"
During the exchange, the host questioned Cruz's lack of data on Iran, leading to a clip that went viral.

Tucker Carlson, the right-wing media personality, clashed with Republican Senator Ted Cruz on Tuesday night. The politician was invited to Carlson's online show to discuss the United States' situation on Iran and how Cruz is supporting the regime change in that country.
This tense encounter shows the split within the MAGA movement over U.S. involvement in the Israel and Iran conflict. President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he is already involved, saying that they are not going after their Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, "at least for now."
What happened during the interview?
The exchange started when Carlson asked how many people live in Iran, to which Cruz responded: "I don't know." The interviewer continued criticizing how the Senator didn't have the data of a country he wanted to topple. "I don't sit around memorizing population tables," the politician answered. Then, they both started yelling at each other, ending the clip with Carlson saying, "You don't know anything about Iran."
Carlson posted the clip on his social media, and it went viral instantly. People were sharing videos of thousands of Iranians running away from their cities due to Trump's evacuation alert. Moments later, the host emphasized that his guest must know the information since: "…you're calling for the overthrow of the government."
Carlson against "warmongers"
Tucker Carlson has been supporting his position on the conflict, saying that there are some "warmongers" inside Trump's administration. According to him, they are pushing the president to intervene in the Middle East conflict. The host also named some of them: Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter, and Miriam Adelson.
President Donald Trump responded to these declarations, saying that Carlson is "kooky," before the interview clip was posted. Cruz has criticized Carlson over past posts, writing: "Tucker Carlson is obsessed with defending Russia and the KGB thug that runs it," and in another one: "I emphatically support killing terrorists who seek to kill Americans — that’s America First. Tucker Carlson does not. Why?"
