AEW champion Brody King wears ‘Abolish ICE’ shirt at wrestling event to protest immigration policy
Brody King wears ‘Abolish ICE’ shirt at a match and donates all proceedings are to be donated to families impacted by ICE raids.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) champion Brody King wore a t-shirt that stole the show at a wrestling match this week. The star wrestler wore a t-shirt clamoring for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) department, firmly announcing his stance against Donald Trump's policies.
Brody King is also selling t-shirts with the same message: "Abolish ICE", on social media and all proceedings are to be donated to families which have been directly affected by Donald Trump's immigration raids.

According to a social media post made by the wrestling champion, the proceedings will be donated to the Local hearts foundation. “All proceeds will be donated to Local Hearts foundation to help families that have been impacted from ICE raids. Thank you @travisrt for the awesome design.”
Los Angeles, the city where King was born and raised, has been ravaged by ICE raids, and more recently by the National Guard to fight protesters against President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

At the event, King was one of 14-star figures such as Adam Cole, Atlantis, Atlantis Jr., Bandido, Daniel Garcia and Templario. His team won the match against Dax Harwood, Hechicero, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer and Volador Jr.
The event was one of the most important events between AEW and the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) one of the most important wrestling companies in Mexico.
King's stance is one many athletes are sharing. Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Enrique Hernandez and National Women's Soccer League club Angel City FC, have shared similar posts. While the AEW has not issued an official statement regarding Kings's actions, they have not condemned him either.
