McDonald's reintroduce the Snack Wraps to their menu
The Snack Wrap features one of the chain's new McCrispy strips, a chicken strip made with all-white meat, and is topped with shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla.
This go-round, the Snack Wrap comes in two flavors: spicy, which McDonald's says "brings the heat with a habanero kick" reminiscent of its Spicy McCrispy sandwich; and ranch, which "delivers a satisfying burst of cool ranch goodness", according to the brand, along with hints of garlic and onion.
Fans have been wondering of the return of the snack wrap for years, when they started petitions, asking in drive-thru lanes and tweeting daily at McDonald's official X account.
According to NBC News, the reintroduction of this product comes when the 'Golden arch' company reported sales declined 3.6% in the first quarter.

“The market continues to show the consumer is interested in this product. We want to make sure that we’re meeting our customers’ needs on that,” McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski told analysts, referring to the snack wrap, in early May.
The menu item is part of McDonald's broader push beyond beef into chicken. Companies such as Chick-fill-A, Popeyes, Raising Cane's and Dave's Hot Chicken made chicken a fas-growing restaurant category in recent years.
The reintroduction of the snack wraps is part of a new chapter of what is called the "chicken wars". Recently, Restaurant Brands International's Popeyes announced its own version.
