Caitlin Clark finishes with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in season opener as the Indiana Fever dominate the Chicago Sky in a decisive second-half performance.

Caitlin Clark started her 2025 WNBA season with a standout performance, posting the third triple-double of her career to lead the Indiana Fever to a commanding 93–58 win over the Chicago Sky. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year contributed across the board with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while also recording a career-high four blocks.
Indiana pulled away from Chicago during the final 16 and a half minutes of play, ending the game on a dominant stretch. Aliyah Boston supported Clark with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks. Natasha Howard added 15 points in her Fever debut, helping secure head coach Stephanie White’s first win in her return to the team.
Clark-Reese rivalry heats up again
The game featured a tense moment between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, continuing a rivalry that began in college. With 4:38 remaining in the third quarter, Clark committed a hard foul across Reese’s arm, sending her to the floor. Reese immediately got up and confronted Clark before Fever center Aliyah Boston intervened.
Following a video review, officials upgraded Clark’s foul to a flagrant 1 and issued technical fouls to both Reese and Boston. The incident briefly sparked momentum for Chicago, but the Fever responded with a 9-0 run to end the third quarter, effectively putting the game out of reach.
