Silent Hill returns to Xbox with one of its most terrifying bets: Konami wants to win over fans of the remake with Silent Hill f.

Konami has returned strongly to the video game industry, and after the launch of Silent Hill 2 remake in October 2024, it has confirmed that it is already working on two new games based on the saga. During the last Silent Hill Transmission, the company has revealed new information about Silent Hill f, probably the most anticipated game by everyone: here its reveal trailer and everything you need to know about its story.
This new and mysterious game set in Japan during the 60's. Specifically, it will be a new game that completely detaches itself from everything we knew until then, although maintaining the psychological terror that is already characteristic of the saga.
Silent Hill f new trailer drops game's storyline, release date?
Silent Hill f will tell a completely new story that is set in Japan in the 60s, an astounding setting. Especially when compared to what we've seen so many times since the premiere of the saga on the first PlayStation 25 years ago. It is the first Silent Hill set in Japan and the premise of the story is reminiscent of Rule of Rose, since the plot stars teenagers and betrayal is one of the central themes.
As you can see in the trailer, throughout this new game the main role is the one of Hinako, an ordinary young teenager. However, her life changes completely when her hometown is enveloped in a terrible fog that modifies the world in a spooky way, forcing her to fight against the worst and most fearsome monsters you can imagine.
Unfortunately, a release date or window for Silent Hill f has not been confirmed, however, that doesn't mean there isn't new information about the game: It will be released jointly on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. Furthermore, it is now possible to add the game to our wish list on all these platforms.
Silent Hill returns to Xbo with Silent Hill f
One of the features that caught the most attention of this presentation is that, after the exclusivity with PlayStation 5 that Silent Hill 2 Remake has had, this new work will return to Xbox, with a version for new generation consoles, in addition to PC.
The last title in the Silent Hill saga released on Xbox consoles was Silent Hill HD Collection in 2012, which arrived for Xbox 360, so it is undoubtedly a return more than anticipated by Xbox players.
